1. Generalities
These general terms and conditions of sale conditions apply to all services provided by MAYE (hereafter referred to as MAYE). The offer is limited to Switzerland. By placing an order, the customer acknowledges having read, understood, and unconditionally accepted these terms and conditions.
2. Selling Price, Invoicing, Payments
2.1. Our prices are in Swiss Francs per unit, including VAT. Delivery fees are not included in the prices.
2.2 The following payment methods are available to you:
- PostFinance card
- Visa
- Mastercard
- TWINT
- Invoice
- Debit card (only for purchases made in-store in Riddes)
- Cash (only for purchases made in-store in Riddes)
Invoices are payable within 30 days from the date of invoicing.
2.3. For online purchases, including Click & Collect, MAYE offers the following quantity discounts:
- 3% off from CHF 500.- upwards
- 5% off from CHF 750.- upwards
- 8% off from CHF 1’000.- upwards
2.4. Uniquely for purchases made in-store in Riddes, MAYE offers the following discounts:
- If you purchase and pick up your order directly from the store, you benefit from a 4% discount.
- If you pay for your purchase in cash, you benefit from a 3% discount (cash payment or debit card). Credit cards and TWINT do not allow for a discount.
- You can also benefit from the following quantity discounts:
- 3% off from CHF 500.- upwards
- 5% off from CHF 750.- upwards
- 8% off from CHF 1’000.- upwards
2.5. We reserve the right to request advance payment. In case of non-payment, we reserve the right to invoice reminder fees as well as late payment interest.
3. Validity of Conditions and Prices
3.1. The applicable prices are those published at the time of the order. We reserve the right to modify the assortment, vintages, prices, conditions and product availability, as well as to correct obvious errors and typographical errors. Claims for damages caused by obvious errors and typographical errors are excluded.
3.2. MAYE may offer promotions on its assortment. These offers are only valid during the period of publication and cannot be requested retroactively.
4. Special Conditions
Promotions apply exclusively to private prices and cannot be combined with other benefits. The value of the merchandise must be at least equal to the amount of the promotional code or gift voucher. The reimbursement of any residual value is not possible. The deduction of the amount of a promotional code or gift voucher after the fact is not possible. The value of a promotional code or gift voucher cannot be paid out in cash. It is not possible to combine multiple promotional codes or gift vouchers per order.
5. Orders
By placing an order, the customer commits to purchasing the selected products in accordance with these general terms and conditions of sale. For each order placed on the website, a confirmation email is sent. Before written confirmation from MAYE has been received, orders placed by the customer through the internet do not constitute a contract with binding force for MAYE. Any validated order cannot be modified or canceled. Sale within the limits of available stock. If a product ordered is not deliverable, the customer will be informed.
6. Retention of Merchandise and Right of Withdrawal
6.1. The merchandise remains the exclusive property of MAYE until full payment. In case of late payment, we have the right to withdraw from the purchase contract.
6.2. Orders can be collected from Riddes within 30 days. After this period of time, unpaid orders will be automatically cancelled. After 30 days, the availability of the ordered products in a paid order is no longer guaranteed. In addition, the vintage cannot be guaranteed.
6.3. Despite meticulous storage procedures, it is possible that items may be sold more quickly than expected. Therefore, we cannot provide a guarantee of delivery. The following applies: Delivery while stocks last.
7. Sale and Registration
Only individuals who have reached the legal age for consuming alcoholic beverages can order products online (16 years in Switzerland). When placing an order on the website, the accuracy and completeness of the provided data are ensured by the customer. If you no longer wish to receive advertising related to MAYE, you can inform us at any time by sending an email to info@maye.ch or a letter to MAYE, Rue des Caves 12, 1908 Riddes.
8. Transport and Delivery Fees
8.1. With our logistics partners such as Vinolog, Oenolog, or Sieber, we provide fast, simple and convenient delivery to your doorstep. Orders are usually delivered to the recipient within 2 to 10 working days from the date of shipment.
8.2. A contribution to delivery fees in the amount of CHF 15.- will be charged to the customer. Delivery for orders over CHF 300.- (excluding discounts) is free of charge, except in the case of special conditions.
8.3. MAYE reserves the right to charge additional transport fees in case of unsuccessful first delivery attempts. The risks of loss and damage to the merchandise are transferred to the customer upon receipt by Swiss Post or the designated delivery company.
8.4. Deliveries abroad are generally not possible. Exceptions may be considered for large quantities.
9. Complaints
9.1 Wines with a cork taste are refundable provided that the defect is confirmed by a MAYE employee and the returned bottle is at least two-thirds full. If the same vintage is still available, the wine with the confirmed defect will be exchanged. This provision is valid for a period of two years from the date of purchase, upon presentation of the proof of purchase. Non-vintage wines and vintages over 10 years old will not be replaced.
9.2 Upon receipt of the merchandise, the customer checks the quantity and condition of the products. In the case of missing or damaged merchandise, the customer submits a written claim to MAYE within 30 days from receipt (keeping the product, invoice and delivery note).
10. Modifications and Additions
MAYE expressly reserves the right to adapt these general terms and conditions of sale at any time by publishing a new version. The relevant modifications will take effect immediately upon publication.
11. Applicable Law and Jurisdiction
These general sales conditions are subject to Swiss law. The legal venue is at the registered office of the operator.

2. Cancellation Conditions
In case of a cancellation of the reservation (for part or all of the attendees) for an event or one of our rental facilities, the following amounts remain due to MAYE as compensation:
- 10 days or less before the date of the event: 20% of the total amount of the reservation.
- 3 days or less before the date of the event: 80% of the total amount of the reservation.
- On the day of the event: the full amount of the reservation.
