A luminous ruby-red colour
This wine's gourmet, racy character develops rapidly. At first, fruity notes of cherry and prune develop, followed by a broad range of roasted coffee, warm caramel and cardamom. Hints of forest floor and ivy follow.
On the palate, the spices reveal themselves (cinnamon, pepper, cloves) and balance perfectly with notes of dark chocolate and a lovely roundness. As with the nose, notes of coffee are also present.

Gourmandise and character
This exclusive, limited-production 1889 Collection is made up of two blends. Gourmandise and character are key descriptors of both creations.
This wine is a blend of Cabernet Franc, Syrah, Gamaret and Diolinoir. At first, fruity notes of cherry and prune develop, followed by a broad range of roasted coffee, warm caramel and cardamom. Hints of forest floor and ivy follow. On the palate, the spices reveal themselves and balance perfectly with notes of dark chocolate and a lovely roundness. Without hesitation, this is a wine that pairs perfectly with flavourful meat, because the wine itself is full of flavour.
